Who We Are: Valley Forge Patriots Fastpitch is a nonprofit organization run by a diverse board of knowledgeable personnel, experienced coaches, and former travel/collegiate players. This dedicated group of individuals has the perspective of playing at the highest levels while maintaining a parental perspective of having gone through the recruiting process both personally and along with their daughters. Mission Statement: To support the young ladies that come to us and help them gain the knowledge and skills that will carry them now and through life. We provide each player the best training, mentoring and coaching we have to offer. We strive to prepare our players for competitive softball, college recruitment and life. While helping them to develop self-respect, and respect for others, as the motto that this program was built upon. Being a Patriot player means you understand that you are valued, have confidence in yourself and your ability to play this game. Most importantly, you are striving to make the decisions in life that will provide you happiness and growth. Each team has a coaching staff that develops its players through sound drills and instruction. Patriot players spend substantial time developing the most important aspects of the game including hitting, defensive fielding, base running, situational play, mental approach, and physical conditioning. Valley Forge Patriots places a high value into its players receiving a college education. All players in our program are required to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible to participate with Patriots Softball. We believe academic discipline will lead to good habits and better choices for our youth in all aspects of life. Our coaching staff has decades of experience and have worked together to develop a specific program that helps our players prepare for the college recruitment process as well as a broad network of collegiate contacts. We understand the collegiate system and know what they are seeking in a student/athlete, and help ready our youth to meet those demands. |
